EDUCATIONAL NOTICE Admission into 1st year MBBS/BDS courses in the Government Medical & Dental Colleges of Assam for the Session 2024 (For 5% Reservation of MBBS/BDS seats for the students who have studied from class VII to class XII in Assam Government Schools /Colleges /Provincialised Colleges under SEBA and AHSEC ) This is for information of all concerned that the State Government has newly introduced reservation of 5% of MBBS/BDS seats for those students who studied from Class VII to X in Government Schools under SEBA and Class XI and XII in State Government Schools /Colleges /Provincialised Colleges of Assam under AHSEC. Accordingly, candidates who appeared in the NEET-UG-2024 and are eligible for admission into 1st year MBBS/BDS courses in the Government Medical and Dental Colleges of Assam for the session 2024 as per “The Medical Colleges and Dental Colleges of Assam (Regulation of Admission into 1st year MBBS/BDS Courses) Rules, 2017” (Amended upto 2024) under the above-mentioned category, are hereby directed to apply to “The Director of Medical Education, Assam” in plain paper along with the duly filled-in “Certificate of Study in Government School/ Government College/ Provincialised College of Assam by the Candidate” in original, available in the officail website www.dme.assam.gov.in. Following documents duly attested are to be submitted along with the application and proforma: 1. NEET-UG-2024 Score cared 2. NEET-UG-2024 admit card 3. Permanent Residential Certificate (PRC) of Assam The applications must be submitted to the office of the undersigned (2nd floor, Room No. 5) on or before 25th June, 2024, during office hours, by hand. No further application will be considered by this Office after the last date of submission (i.e. 25th June, 2024). Applications sent by Post/ E-mail shall not be accepted. Candidates are also requested to collect their receipts of acknowledgement at the time of submission of their applications and are directed to visit the official website of this Directorate regularly for updates.
